Gryphon Atlas Max Wi-Fi 7 Security Router Receives FCC Authorization for U.S. Launch

Written by: John Wu / October 09, 2026

Gryphon Online Safety has received official FCC equipment authorization for the Gryphon Atlas Max, a next-generation security and parental control Wi-Fi 7 mesh router designed for families and small businesses.

Atlas Max is one of only two Wi-Fi 7 router platforms included in the FCC’s initial conditional approvals following new restrictions on foreign-produced consumer routers. The rules prohibit covered devices from receiving new FCC equipment authorizations, significantly reshaping the U.S. consumer router market.

Final FCC equipment authorization for Atlas Max was granted on September 30, 2026.

Atlas Max combines tri-band Wi-Fi 7 performance with advanced network security, IoT protection, and comprehensive parental controls. It supports speeds of up to 19 Gbps, as many as 200 connected devices, and up to 4,000 square feet of coverage per unit. Multiple units can be connected to create a larger mesh network.

The authorization clears an important regulatory milestone ahead of the Atlas Max U.S. launch. Gryphon is working with a U.S.-based manufacturing partner to bring the product to market.

Atlas Max reflects Gryphon’s mission to protect families and small businesses with fast, secure, and easy-to-manage internet access at the network edge.
