How does the Atlas Max deposit work?+
Atlas Max has a $499 hardware price per unit: a $10 deposit at checkout and a $489 remaining hardware balance charged when shipped. The deposit is part of the price, not an extra charge. Shipping and applicable taxes are confirmed at secure checkout.
When will my Atlas pre-order ship?+
Delivery is subject to availability. Confirm the latest timing and payment terms in secure checkout or contact Gryphon support before ordering.
Where do I complete payment?+
The Checkout button on the Atlas page opens Gryphon’s secure Shopify checkout with your selected quantity and the deposit plan. Confirm your contact details, delivery information, final total, and payment terms there.
Wi-Fi & setup.
Does Gryphon replace my internet service?+
No. Gryphon connects to your modem or internet gateway. You still need an active internet plan.
Where do I manage my network?+
Use the Gryphon Connect app on iOS or Android to manage your router and family settings.
What do I need to set up Gryphon?+
You need compatible Gryphon hardware, a modem or internet gateway, an active internet service plan, and a compatible iOS or Android phone with the Gryphon Connect app.
Parental controls.
Do controls work away from home?+
Home network controls apply to devices connected to Gryphon. HomeBound, available with Premium Protection, extends supported controls to compatible mobile devices away from home.
Why can a video keep playing after internet is paused?+
A device may finish playing content it already downloaded. Pausing internet access stops new network traffic; it does not erase buffered content.
Can each child have different settings?+
Yes. Create personal profiles, assign devices, and personalize filtering and schedules in the Gryphon Connect app.
App & subscriptions.
Is Gryphon Connect free to download?+
Yes. The Gryphon Connect app is free to download. Premium Protection is a separate, optional paid subscription. Downloading the app does not start a subscription.
Is Premium Protection included with my Atlas order?+
The Atlas shopping flow is for hardware. Review Premium Protection separately in your Gryphon Connect app to see current pricing, eligibility, billing frequency, and included services before subscribing.
How do I activate Premium Protection?+
Download Gryphon Connect, sign in to the account associated with your compatible router, and review the Premium Protection options available to you. HomeBound requires setup on supported mobile devices.
